QuickSwitch Technology for in-line dimension change |
"We are delighted that such a renowned customer has chosen our QuickSwitch Technology," explains Andreas Kessler, General Sales Manager at KraussMaffei Berstorff Munich.
"For us, that is proof that processors in Asia also find value in the cost-effective aspects of our in-line dimension change system," continues Kessler. With this system, Georg Fischer (GF) will produce HDPE pipes using the QuickSwitch process for the 160 – 250 mm diameter range and will generate an enormous potential for savings due to the high performance capacity and productivity. Small order batches and the elimination of set-up times provide maximum flexibility and thus, a real competitive advantage.
Three-layer system for SILENTA 3A production
The latest investment includes another system that produces three-layer sewer pipes made of Polypropylene. This piping system is sold under the brand name SILENTA 3A. With its noise insulating properties it is primarily used as domestic drainage pipes in multi-story buildings.
Georg Fischer Malaysia has been continuously evolving since it was founded in 1996. As a leading provider, the standalone subsidiary sells premium quality pipe systems for various applications, such as building systems, water and gas lines and fittings that are adapted to the specific market requirements in Asia.
There are 50 employees at the Taman Perindustrian Air Hitam, Klang location (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
