The new productive site is located in a village of Skarbimierz, 25 miles from the regional capital Opole in south-western Poland.
Skarbimierz site features a 5-layer BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) film extrusion system, provided by Brückner Maschinenbau to be soon complimented by a metallization system. The line is capable of manufacturing up to 40 000 tonnes of high performance film with the maximum length of 8.7 м per year.
The new manufacturing facility is aimed to strengthen the company's presence on the flourishing European market making its products more procurable for the local customers and at the same time strengthening position in several segments including labels and special applications. Skarbimierz plant is expanding capabilities of Poligal's already operating manufacturing sites in Spain and Portugal.
