Riverdale Global reports its new manufacturing facility in High Point (NC, USA) is approaching completion. The plant under construction will specialize in liquid colorants and additives, providing a range of 100 pigments. They will be dispatched to one of the company's numerous network plants to be individually blended for customers from the local polymer processing sector.
High Point facility will boast several innovative solutions regarding process automation and optimization. All the pigments will be processed separately using dedicated equipment elements such as hoppers, screws and containers thus eliminating excess cleaning stage and cross-contamination risks as well as allowing for better traceability.
The new control system will be able to trace any material batch by the unique number assigned at the first stage of the manufacturing process. The online resource monitoring will help to shorten order execution times.
According to Riverdale Global the main facility in High Point will open this summer while several units including research laboratory are already operational.
