Graham Partners has recently announced their new investment deal – the acquisition of once family- owned Advanced Barrier Extrusions, LLC (or ABX).
This Rhinelander based (WI, USA) company is a leading producer and supplier of unsupported plastics film and sheet mainly for the North American food packaging segment as well as some other markets.
ABX manufactures sophisticated multi-layer products including those approved for direct food contact and designed to reduce spoilage, extend shelf life and after all make foods safer. Due to its well-developed competence in plastics processing and adaptable operational capabilities the company has successfully lured many important customers. ABX has also managed to catch up with several emerging trends in ever shifting consumer preferences concerning edible goods labeling and packaging.
Graham has chosen to partner with ABX's initial owners and managers thus giving credence to their experience leadership and expertise. The investor disclosed plans to further bolster this business through organic grows as well as additional acquisitions. New product lines will be developed in order to expand to adjacent markets.
