Last Friday Rollepaal celebrated the official opening of its new test facility in Dedemsvaart, the Netherlands. In the presence of all employees the new facility was opened by Rollepaal BV director, Tom Bont.
"Rollepaal is currently experiencing substantial growth, and we expect to continue this growth in the future. With the construction of our new test facility, additional 2,000 square meters have been created for testing our extrusion equipment. This enables us to serve our customers even better in the future," says director Tom Bont.
The next few weeks will be used to install the last installations, after which the new test facility will be ready for testing all extrusion equipment.
In order to realize the growth ambitions, Rollepaal will continue to expand its production facilities. Therefore the next construction plans will be presented in the near future.
About the company
Since the foundation for the company was laid in the 1950's, Rollepaal has had an eventful existence.
For many years (till 1985), the company was part of Europe's biggest pipe producer. This gave Rollepaal the chance to learn pipe manufacturing technology from the inside out. Nowadays, company's multilayer technology is the ultimate method, without making concessions in terms of quality. Oriented PVC(PVC-O) is the latest development. By stretching a pvc pipe in two directions, the material actually becomes stronger and more capable to resist impacts.
