During its traditional "dynamic days" organized in Weissenbach, Lower Austria this October, Starlinger seized the occasion to present its new recycling division headquarters. The new facility is neighboring the already existing Starlinger manufacturing complex. The division was previously allocating its activities between the company's main office in Vienna and Weissenbach factory. The new separate building will consolidate all the recycling division personnel in one location. With the factory in the vicinity, it will be easier to maintain communications with the departments.
"Dynamic days" is Starlinger's annual meeting dedicated to customers. This year the event has brought together around 150 participants originating from 34 countries. On its 1st day everything was focused on odor reduction with a practical demonstration as a recoSTAR recycling line was in the highlight processing PP regrind in one of the assembly zones. The next day was reserved for polyester recycling. The visitors had an opportunity to have a look at the new Rapid Sleeve Changer, able to change filtering elements without halting production process. On the last day of the event the Starlinger's customers had a chance to visit PET Competence Center to keep an eye on how rPET flakes were transformed into tapes for woven fabric.
