Oben Holding Group's Technical Director Erik Sosa is really delighted by this newest successful joint project in a long row. It is also another step within Oben Holding's strategy to become one of the leading BOPET film suppliers for Latin and North American as well as European markets. Besides, more joint projects for producing top-quality oriented films made of various materials are currently being negotiated.
The now successfully started 8.7m wide line has all the state-of-the-art features for ensuring highest flexibility, productivity and film quality. Among other highlights, one is outstanding: a double-side inline coater, a special Brückner design. It is completely integrated into the line and the line's control system. That means a reliable quality for all line components with complete process control and finally the possibility for Oben Holding to enhance their product portfolio. Their range of specialty packaging films can now be broadened by twist wrap solutions and other trendy film types.
