To ensure the best results, the in- novative slitter rewinder offers several state-of-the-art features and options. The especially compact station rewinder concept with a short web path from un- wind to rewind keeps the web on track and allows lowest web tension ranges. Thanks to the ergonomic design, the machine is functionally accessible all- around and thereby ensures highest pro- ductivity during unloading and set-up. When it comes to quality, GOEBEL IMS follows a no compromise policy. To gua- rantee best results, the developing engi- neers focused on achieving the maxi- mum of precision and efficiency. There- fore, high end components such as all carbon fiber and individually driven rol- lers, as well as an absolute precise and sensitive web tension control system, are integrated in the INTERSLIT BSF to ensure the proper handling of such valuable and delicate substrate like BOPE based batte- ry separator film. To achieve the targeted finished roll quality, the contact force is individually adjustable from gap winding up to sensitive contact winding. All fi- nished rolls are carefully rewound on in- dividual rewind stations which are posi- tioned fully automatic and are all ar- ranged on one common side of the slit- ter rewinder. These stations open auto- matically and release the finished rolls in- to a rest position, where the operator or optionally an automatic handling system will clear the rolls from the unloading po- sition. Thus, an easy and fast unloading and inspection of the finished rolls is guaranteed. To achieve the maximum of efficiency, the INTERSLIT BSF is tailor-made for every customer. It provides a maximum web width of up to 6,000 mm while unwind and rewind diameter as well as speed are adjusted upon customers’ needs. The top solution for most precise and dust re- duced cutting are individual driven shear top knifes which are embedded in a car- bon fiber body bottom cutter shaft that also can be driven independently. Alter- natively, classical razor blade holders would apply.
