The torque rheometer was exhibited in com- bination with the Measuring Mixer 50 EHT at Fakuma. As a modular drive unit for various measuring mixers or measur- ing extruders, the Plastograph EC Plus is essentially suitable for testing the proces- sability of a wide range of different plas- ticizable materials. Fakuma visitors could also obtain more information about Brabender’s plastics and rubber industry solutions at the show itself. Other instruments on show were the AQUATRAC-3E, a classic meter for mea- suring residual moisture in plastics as well as the TSSR-Meter – an anisother- mal stress relaxation tester for characte- rizing TPE, polymers and elastomers.
