To counter it, experts worldwide see the minimisation of CO 2 -intensive plastics as a clear goal. Numerous well- known international brands and retailers have commit- ted themselves to making all packaging recyclable by 2025. Thus, the development of environmentally friend- ly packaging materials is a current and relevant mission, which Hosokawa Alpine has accepted. The machine manufacturer has already accumulated 25 years of ex- perience in fi lm stretching technology. With the further development of the proven Machine Direction Orienta- tion (MDO) systems, a decisive step has been taken for the production of fully recyclable mono-material fi lms – enabling the Russian fi lm manufacturer Grand-Master to position itself as a pioneer in the domestic market.
