Fynotej hat Anfang des Jahres mit der Produktion einer Reihe von Waben- Sandwiches für Automobilinnenräume, einschließlich des Kofferraums begon- nen. Diese Produkte, PP-Wabenplatten unter dem Markennamen Fynocore, ha- ben einen PP-Wabenkern mit Deckla- gen – durchgehend thermisch gebun- den – aus entweder fester PP-Folie oder einer Vliesoberfläche und kombinieren geringes Gewicht mit hoher Leistung und Ästhetik. PP und darüber hinaus : EconCore ent- wickelt die Vielseitigkeit der ThermHex- Technologie weiter. Es hat seinen Fokus auf hochleistungsfähige thermoplasti- sche (HTP-) Wabenkernmaterialien und Sandwichplatten erweitert. „Die Hoch- geschwindigkeits-Endlostechnologie hat sich als logischer Partner für absatzstarke Anwendungen unter Einsatz handelsüb- licher Thermoplasten erwiesen“, so Tomasz Czarnecki, COO bei EconCore. „Jetzt erweitern wir die Fähigkeiten zur Herstellung von Wabenkernen auf tech- nische Kunststoffe, einschließlich modifi- ziertes Polycarbonat, Polyamid 66, Poly- phenylensulfid (PPS) und andere.“ EconCore hat in seinen kürzlich moderni- sierten F&E-Einrichtungen im belgischen Leuven bereits erfolgreich Waben in mehreren HPTs produziert und getestet.
