Union Officine Meccaniche has installed two R-PET lines at its historic customer in Mexico. With these last two systems the customer’s machine park reaches a total of 16 Union lines.
In addition to the reliability of Union lines with an unrivaled life cycle, the customer is linked to the high level of quality of the finished product and Union’s reaction in grasping the need for fast deliveries to increase production in a short time.
The two lines have been designed to also work 100% with PET flakes, guaranteeing a perfect sheet for the thermoforming and FFS industry for the food sector and have a capacity of over 1000 kg/h, on a useful width of 1300 mm and with thickness range from 0.160 to 1.6 mm. All the lines are connected remotely to be able to offer continuous and timely assistance to every
customer around the world.

Union confirms its position as a global supplier of complex extrusion systems in the following sectors:
- of the latest generation rigid packaging PET, PLA, PP, BARRIER MATERIALS, EXPANDED INCLUDING XPS and flexible packaging for converting & printing and bio materials (TECOM Brand);
- XPS expanded insulating panels but also PET and PE or structured panels with a honeycomb core;
- compact sheets in PC, ABS, PMMA, PP, HDPE, HMWPE – also with optical quality – and also composite sheets with aluminium/steel sheets;
- TPO waterproofing geomembranes even in extra large dimensions up to over 8m;
- hollow profile sheet in PP and PC.
