"Experience has shown that operating an extrusion line at its optimum throughput and quality at best utilization is anything but easy. Only a well-trained staff can reach best results," says Dmitrij Schmiegel, Area Sales Engineer for CIS and Central Asia at German based Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH. "With the Leistritz Extrusion Academy Basic you learn what is important to know." The three-day training program allows for optimum interaction between theoretical and practical setting and is aimed mostly at responsible operating personnel, foremen and persons responsible for production and extrusion lines. The next Leistritz Extrusion Academy Basic will take place on May 16 - 18, 2018 and will be held in English.
During the practical lectures important basic concepts are being provided which help the participants to understand the extrusion process with co-rotating twin screw extruders and to make conclusions for their daily work with the line. The subsequent practical part makes it possible to illustrate and to immediately try out the theoretical content.
The training will be held by experienced employees of Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH who have been dealing with operation, configuration and maintenance of extrusion lines for years. "Thus we can guarantee a competent and practical training which is supplemented by specialist service partners of the Leistritz network", explains Schmiegel. For this reason also partner companies of Leistritz team up and inform about up- and downstream equipment like dosing units and pelletizing systems. But not only information is what counts for the Leistritz Extrusion Academy participants – exchanging experience with colleagues of other branches is also an important factor.
