Americhem have expanded their ColorRx® offering; a line of precolor compounds for medical applications. The portfolio now includes PC/ABS and PC/Polyester alloys.
ColorRx® PA - 2000RX, PC/ABS, and ColorRx® FRPCT1100 RX, PC/Polyester, have been tested by third parties to meet ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards and are UL listed as self-extinguishing. The PC/Polyester offers improved chemical resistance over standard grades of PC/ABS. Americhem Engineered Compounds provides fully supported testing for biocompatibility and chemical resistance. All ColorRx® products are available on a global basis to service global medical manufacturers.

"We also offer locked formulations and short lead times with no minimum order quantity. These services help mitigate material risks to medical manufacturers and speeds up the product development process allowing faster commercialization."
Americhem's Suzhou, China manufacturing facility is ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certified. Americhem Technical Marketing Director, S. Mani stated , "Our ISO 13485 :2016 certification further demonstrates our commitment to the medical and health care markets."
