R&B Plastics Machinery LLC, a well-established producer and rebuilder of extrusion machinery, has recently entered partnership with SIKA Machinery CO, a Taiwanese blow moulding machine supplier, and Seecor, a blow moulding machinery specialist from Cape Town (South Africa). The partners will join their efforts and expertise to produce new types of blow moulding machines.
The cooperation project will allow R&B Plastics Machinery to enrich its product portfolio with new all-electric units thus making it easier to challenge major suppliers in this segment. According to the agreement, the roles and responsibilities of the collaborates will be as follows: Seecor helps SIKA Machinery CO with designing and engineering of machine parts and functional systems at its facility in Taiwan. SIKA then transfers them to the USA – to R&B plant, located in Saline (Michigan) for complete lines assembly and testing. All the customer relations and support will be carried out by experienced R&B specialists.
The coproduced all-electric machines family is featuring shuttle platforms ranging from 350mm – 1250mm long stroke, available in single- and double-sided configurations. The lines are to be marketed primarily on the American market with a number of customers have already been served.
