Single screw sheet extrusion line for thermoformed food packaging

Union Officine Meccaniche is increasingly present in American market with the sale to an important plastic materials processing company of the new extrusion line for the production of PET/PP sheet for rigid thermoformed food packaging applications.

The line is equipped with single screw extruder with double venting system, supply by 100% recycling material, coming from post-consumed bottle and trims and mechanical calander with 500-800-500 mm rolls to ensure a flow rate of 1300 kg with PET.
The line will produce rigid sheet with thickness variable from 0.13 to 2.5 mm based on final product required, useful width 1300 mm.
