Messe Düsseldorf GmbH is postponing the trade fairs wire and Tube. In close coordination with all partners involved, the company will promptly discuss alternative trade fair dates in order to guarantee planning can reliably proceed. In doing so, Messe Düsseldorf is following the recommendation of the crisis management team of the German government to take into account the principles of the Robert Koch Institute when making a risk assessment of major events. Added to this is the uncertainty of numerous exhibitors and visitors at the events in March and the complicated travel situation, especially for international customers.
There are currently no intentions to postpone the major trade fair interpack, which will be held in Düsseldorf on 07-13 of May,.
To remind, the wire and Tube trade fairs were initially planned for the time from 30 March to 3 April 2020. In 2020 the “trade fair heavyweights” for these industries will again bring together some 2,600 exhibitors on total net space of 115,000 square metres in 15 exhibition halls. The special benefit: for the first time the new multi-purpose Hall 1, which holds up to 10,000 people with its 12,027 square metres, will offer Tube exhibitors new presentation options.
