WIPAG will present its product and service portfolio at Fakuma 2021 in Friedrichshafen. On the one hand, the focus will be on the customized WIC compounds based on recycled carbon fiber materials, which help reduce the CO2 footprint of end products in the production of lightweight components in for example the medical technology, automotive, construction and sports & leisure industries. In addition, the patented recycling technologies developed by WIPAG make it possible to reprocess plastic waste to a high quality and return it to the material cycle. As part of WIPAG's "Recycling-as-a-Service" RaaS®️ offering, WIPAG thus helps its customers establish closed-loop processes in which the they retain ownership of their production waste.
"Our products and technologies are a solution for an innovative circular economy that meets the increasing consumer needs for more sustainability," says Thomas Marquardt, Managing Director of WIPAG. "We see ourselves as a consultant and logistics partner for our customers when it comes to recycling, and we are pleased to present our comprehensive range of services at this year’s Fakuma."
WIPAG is a specialist for the production of compounds using plastics processing as well as the implementation of individual recycling management concepts as part of industrial waste disposal. Using innovative recycling technologies, the company processes plastic waste streams that are then reused as valuable materials in the products of well-known brand manufacturers. The high-tech, lightweight construction compound "WIC," which is made from secondary carbon fiber, is also part of the WIPAG sustainable portfolio.
