ARLIN Mfg. Co., Inc., announces that it has signed a letter of intent with Toray Plastics (America), to purchase its Old Baptist Road (OBR) plant. ARLIN will continue operations and provide service to OBR customers. The transfer of the business to ARLIN is scheduled for December 31, 2021.
Steven Mitchell, Vice President at ARLIN, says the company looks forward to maintaining the high level of service and product quality to which Toray’s customers are accustomed. “ARLIN also has a legacy of commitment to excellence in the manufacture of cast OPP film and customer service, and we are very pleased to be able to acquire the plant. The OBR facility will complement our Trico Specialty Films division and expand our capabilities,” he adds.
