Tervakoski Films Group is pleased to announce a major investment in cutting-edge technology to start a new era of capacitor film production in Europe. Thanks to the investment in a state-of-the-art LISIM (simultaneous stretching) line, Tervakoski Films Group will be able to significantly increase its production capacity in its existing business areas to meet the emerging needs of tomorrow.
The upcoming LISIM line by Brückner will be the first of its kind in Europe. This investment opens exciting prospects for Tervakoski Films Group’s future: its substantially increased production capability will accelerate the green transition as more capacitors are constantly needed to replace old technologies with new CO2-reducing solutions.
Once in operation during 2025, Tervakoski Films Group’s LISIM line will produce capacitor film for its wide range of client needs. The new technology will also provide the most appropriate process for the company’s most recent invention, the ultra-high temperature film.
