Aurora Plastics, LLC. (Aurora), a leading manufacturer of polymer compounds, announced its acquisition of EnCom Polymers, Inc. (EnCom). EnCom is a privately-owned U.S. manufacturer of high-quality customized specialty engineered thermoplastics, color-matching services, and related material technology solutions. EnCom products are utilized in a host of applications in the electrical, automotive, medical, building and construction, consumer goods, business equipment, and transportation industries.
This acquisition marks the sixth transaction by Aurora since 2017, and further strengthens its offering in engineered thermoplastics. EnCom will be grouped with Enviroplas, which was acquired by Aurora in 2022 to create the company’s Engineered Thermoplastics business segment.
