Numerous guests came to the Chinese Leistritz subsidiary in Taicang to witness the inauguration of the new ZSE CC twin screw extruders. With this, Leistritz provides Asian compounding companies with a machine that combines two important points: "German engineering and local sourcing in China".
The co-rotating twin screw extruders of the ZSE CC (Classic Compounder) series have been designed to fulfill high quality demands for standard compounding tasks. Four sizes with a screw diameter of 27, 40, 50 and 60 mm will initially be brought to the market. The ZSE CC extruders have an OD/ID of 1.5 and a specific screw torque of 11.5 Nm/cm³. With processing lengths of 36, 40, 44 and 48 L/D as well as screw speeds of 600 or 1,000 rpm they provide excellent processing conditions.
