As the world’s biggest automotive market, China is a heavyweight for the global automotive industry. German premium automotive producers and suppliers operate facilities in China at which they produce goods for the Chinese and the global markets. Moreover, Chinese e-mobility producers have been conquering a constantly growing share of the global electric vehicle market with their lower-budget vehicles. “Currently, high-end measuring technology from Germany is in high demand in China,” says Michael Frohn, Sales Manager of PIXARGUS. He is convinced that “we can make a difference with our systems”.
PIXARGUS already now supplies its systems to German and European customers who have production facilities in China and trust in measuring technology made in Germany. By joining forces with its CiTEX sister company iNOEX, PIXARGUS intends to develop a customer base also directly in the Chinese market. iNOEX, leading experts in wall thickness and diameter measuring systems for single- and multi-layer round products, has set up a strong sales and service team in Suzhou, in eastern China. The team includes fifteen highly skilled and experienced sales managers, sales assistants and service technicians with local expertise and a broad network within the Chinese automotive, profile, pipe and cable industries.
AllRounDia DV: The inline inspection system for round products of up to 70 mm in diameter

With the latest software and hardware upgrade to its AllRounDia DualVision (DV) systems, PIXARGUS is setting new standards in several respects. PIXARGUS now offers its inspection system for tubes, pipes and hoses with a measuring field extended to a respectable 70 mm. Proven features such as the compactness of the design, the time-saving plug & play functions and the two-in-one technology – the system inspects both the surface and the dimension in just one sensor unit – are now complemented by powerful system extensions that have raised the bar in defect detection performance. Live images, a replay function, and an encoder available as an option for high-precision measurements at varying process speeds are just a few examples of the system’s new groundbreaking features. To summarize, the upgraded smart defect finder for round extrusion products provides further enhanced defect recognition, a much enlarged range of analysis tools and more automated processes. Through the upgrade, AllRoundia DV has now become a member of PIXARGUS’ ProfilControl 7 product family, offering a comprehensive range of attractive system extensions, such as the new Coil Change Module for automated product changes that automatically generates a defect and batch report for every batch produced. The Scada LOG module makes it possible to also track operator-dependent variations.
iProfilControl: The compact series for inspecting profiles with diameters of up to 250 mm

Optimized in terms of design and performance, the downsized models of the compact iProfilControl series, which is based on PIXARGUS’ successful ProfilControl 7 technology, achieve maximum efficiency with minimized equipment. Basic models equipped with four cameras can be scaled up to six or eight cameras for any future process requirement. A special sensor head and the PIXARGUS-developed calibration method guarantee the highest measuring accuracy during the inspection of large profiles of up to 250 mm. As requested by the customer, the models can be designed for 100 % surface inspection or 360° dimension measurement – or, as a combination of both functions, as an All-in-One solution. The iPC series’ repeat accuracy of 0.01% of the field of vision (FOV) is very impressive in comparison with competitor systems.
