Nexeo Plastics to distribute the Engineered Polymers of L&B in Europe

LyondellBasell signed an agreement with Nexeo Plastics, global thermoplastics resin distributor, to distribute the LYB Engineered Polymers portfolio, a part of the Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) business, starting April 1, 2025.

LYB offers a diverse range of compounds based on polyamides, polyesters, and blends, among others. The range of Engineered Polymers included in this agreement offers high-performance solutions for antistatic, heat stabilizers, flame retardants, UV Stabilizers, and other applications.

According to LyondellBasell, benefits offered include:

• High heat resistance: Ideal for applications in automotive, appliances, and industrial sectors where high-temperature performance is crucial. Examples include air conditioning parts and heater housings.
• Metal replacement: Suitable for structural applications that require high stiffness and excellent chemical resistance. Commonly used in automotive and electrical components.
