Braskem, the largest petrochemical company in the Americas, and Multinova, are introducing a new solution for the protection of finished floors, avoiding damages in the final phase of works. The material is already used in the construction market and will be on sale in retail as from August.
According to the producer, the Multitriplex coating provides savings and easy renovation and is easy to apply, with high strength and adhesion, without requiring the use of glue. "The provides brings convenience to consumers as it is easy to apply and remove. With it, we were able to provide our customers with efficiency and safety during the construction work," said Jair da Rosa, Market Consultant at Multinova.
The product features three layers: the first features an expanded polyethylene film, which avoids slipping and makes the product lighter, with greater durability and lower cost; the second contains bubble wrap, which cushions the falling materials such as hammers and buckets; and finally, a polyethylene film provides protection against liquids. The union of the layers and the characteristics of their materials prevent problems such as scratches, cracks, stains, and humidity, on all types of floors. Multitriplex is also recyclable.
"We have a long-standing relationship with Multinova, focusing on optimization, innovation and development of new markets. We are happy to be a part of this new moment in the company and to help enable a complete solution for consumers," said Jorge Alexandre, Head of PE Market Development at Braskem.
