The configurati- on can be with 2 or 3 layers with inner reinforcement in glass fiber or polyester scrim. It is also possible to insert a non- woven reinforcement for the lower layer of the membrane. The production is very flexible. The TPO granules and mineral filler powders are directly extruded through in-line processing. The extrusion unit consists of: • 2 co-rotating screw extruders for the n Jingmen Keshun New Material, China located, is a big enterprise part of CKS Group involved in the production and distribution of waterproof coating, bitu- men membranes, adhesives and any other chemical products for building and infrastructure. The newly added line supplied by AMUT produces waterproofing membranes in TPO reaching an output of 2.200 kg/h, around 7 million square meters, annually. The maximum width is 2.000 mm. Blow Molding Capabilities expanded n Amcor has announced the expansion of its injection blow molding (IBM) and extrusion blow molding (EBM) capabili- ties for the production of healthcare, food and home and personal care pack- aging. The company has invested in the Jet series all-electric IBM platform from Meccanoplastica Group, Florence, Italy and the KBB series all-electric EBM plat- form from Kautex Maschinenbau, Bonn, Germany. “Over time, we have grown our diversified rigid plastics business through acquisition and as a result have a wide range of experi- ence with various technology platforms and vendors. The first Jet IBM machine is targeted for production of PP and HDPE healthcare packaging, ranging from 7 ml to 50 ml vials and has recently been commissio- ned at Amcor’s Youngsville, N.C. facility.
