A complete A+B+A co-extrusion line from Union Officine Meccaniche company for the production of optical flat sheet in solid PC + PC/UV has been successfully tested.

The co-extrusion line is equipped with a double longitudinal blade/saw cutting device for the correct cutting of different thicknesses and with an anti-scratch polyethylene coating system on both sides of the sheet.
The line is equipped with the last generation horizontal calender with pivoting exit roll to guarantee optical transparency with all thicknesses. It features calender rolls’ width of 2.400mm for useful sheet width of 2050 mm, thicknesses from 1 to 20 mm and hourly output of 700 kg.
The line is completed by a rotating saw motorized cutter with an automatic stacking device “pick and place” type for sheet up to 6 m long
