The MAS 55L R-PET Extruder technology is based on a conical, co-rotating twin screw extruder, which offers high disposable volume and high coverage of the co-rotating screw shaft.
Due to the conical design, the intake volume is significantly more than the discharge volume. This allows for an extremely high screw filling level, which leads to a high volume throughput per revolution with superb melt pressure stability, even at the lowest possible melt temperatures.
Other benefits include: extremely low energy consumption, high torque via large shaft diameters, excellent feed behavior results and an easy removal of the screw on the rear of the extruder.
