C+K Plastics, Inc., a leading manufacturer of thermoformed plastic products and assemblies for the medical, agricultural equipment, refrigeration, petroleum, and other industries, has announced its acquisition of Piedmont Polymers and Fabrication.
The acquisition gives the larger C+K organization—comprised of locations in Metuchen, New Jersey and Conyers, Georgia—access to Piedmont's more than 95,000 ft2 of manufacturing space.
"The addition of Piedmont's Charlotte facility brings us some excellent technical production talent, as well as leading-edge facilities and a broader presence in the southeast," says C+K President, Bob Carrier. "It will also expand our offerings related to multiaxis routing, strip heat bending, flame polishing, and other key services."
Effective April 19, 2021 Piedmont will conduct business as C+K Plastics North Carolina, Inc.
"Piedmont and C+K Plastics align well," says David Grice, C+K's Vice President of Sales. "We have a common vision for manufacturing quality, and we think this acquisition will enable us to expand our reach throughout the southeastern U.S."
The company serves a broad range of markets, including aerospace, agriculture, food service, refrigeration, and others. The Metuchen, New Jersey-based enterprise couples its offerings with those of its affiliates, Valley Extrusions (of Allentown, Pennsylvania) and C+K Plastics Georgia.
