Die Folienbahnen werden unmittelbar
im Anschluss an den Extrusionsprozess
mit einer hauchdünnen, flüssigen Funkti-
onsschicht ausgerüstet. Im Gegensatz zu
Batch-Additiven hat eine externe Be-
schichtung weder Auswirkung auf das
Verhalten der Schmelze im Extruder,
noch auf das Fließverhalten an der Extru-
sionsdüse und auch nicht auf die Barrie-
rewirkung und damit auf die Stärke der
unterschiedlichen Folienschichten.
Die Funktion ist sofort nach dem Auftrag
wirksam und behält Ihre Wirksamkeit
auch bei sehr langen Lagerzeiten konti-
nuierlich bei. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass
die Folien ihre Transparenz behalten
ganz ohne Eintrübung.

Folienhersteller setzen auf WEKO-Puder-
Auftragssysteme. Mittels hoch präzise ar-
beitender Düsen wird Puder als Trenn-
mittel in minimalen Mengen auf die Fo-
lienoberfläche aufgetragen. Dies redu-
ziert die Haftneigung und die elektrosta-
tischen Einflüsse. Die Folge: höhere Auf-
und Abrollgeschwindigkeiten und die
Verbesserung vieler weiterer Verarbei-
tungsschritte.

both ICE Europe in Munich, Germany
(March 21-23) and ICE USA in Orlando,
Florida (April 25-27). Davis-Standard is a
respected market leader in processing
equipment and services for extrusion
coating, liquid coating, blown film and
cast film, serving customers on every
continent. At ICE, Davis-Standard will
highlight its liquid coating technology,
along with its cost-effective, high pro-
